What should I bring?

1. Bring your yoga mat! We are working on getting our own mats for the fitness classes, but for the time being, BYOM! 

2. Water bottle. We have filtered drinking fountains/ bottle filling station so you can stay hydrated.

Our Mission for the Community Center

At Linden House Community Center, our mission is to create a vibrant, warm, and supportive space where community members can come together, connect, and thrive. We are dedicated to providing a variety of activities and resources that promote wellness, creativity, and community engagement.


Our cooperative emphasizes community and collaboration, involving individuals of all ages and backgrounds in creating a holistic and enriching experience. We believe in the power of community to shape positive futures.  At Linden House Community Center, we understand that "it takes a village" to build a strong, supportive community, and we are committed to being that village.


We plan to offer:

  • Daily yoga, Pilates, or fitness classes for women
  • Respite in community settings
  • Rental space for community events and gatherings
  • Arts and crafts classes
  • Educational workshops and seminars
  • Seasonal sales, including community bazaars and holiday markets
  • Gardening and planting workshops
  • First aid and CPR training
  • Babysitting classes


Our goal is to offer these services in a welcoming and warm environment, ensuring each community member feels valued and supported. By integrating a diverse range of activities and resources, Linden House Community Center aims to build a foundation of lifelong learning, health, and connection for everyone in our community.


Our vision is to be a nurturing and dynamic hub that supports the growth and well-being of every individual, preparing them for a bright future in a caring community.
