OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR TEAM

We're proud to offer a unique shift structure based on feedback from professionals in the industry.  Our six-hour work shifts and flexible start times are designed to support parents with children at school, ensuring you get to spend quality time with your family in the evenings. We also have a shift starting after school, providing local teens with the chance to work and volunteer with us.


We support our working parents by offering low-cost childcare. Whether it's during the day or evening shifts, our activity and childcare room is available for employees to use at an affordable rate. We understand the challenges that come with being a parent, so we want to make it easier for our working mothers and fathers to balance their responsibilities. We believe that children bring joy and positivity to any environment, and we want to share that with our 24-hour residents as well. Our goal is to create a family-friendly workplace where everyone can thrive.


As a member of the Linden House family, you'll have the chance to work with a super fun group of individuals, providing them with direct support, positive direction, and assistance to help them live their best lives. Linden house sample shift schedule

  Day Shift (9:00 am - 3:00 pm)


  • 9:00 am - 10:00 am: Handoff from the previous shift and morning report
  • 10:00 am - 12:00 pm: Assist residents with morning routines, such as hygiene, dressing, and medication management
  • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: Lunch and medication management
  • 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Group activities, such as exercise, art, or music therapy
  • 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Prepare for Evening Shift and handoff to the next shift

Evening Shift (3:00 pm - 9:00 pm)


  • 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Handoff from the previous shift and afternoon report
  • 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm: One-on-one activities with residents, such as reading, playing games, or going for walks
  • 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Dinner and medication management
  • 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Prepare for Overnight Shift and handoff to the next shift

Overnight Shift (9:00 pm - 3:00 am)


  • 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Handoff from the previous shift and evening report
  • 10:00 pm - 11:00 pm: Prepare residents for bed and medication management
  • 11:00 pm - 1:00 am: Check on residents and assist with any needs
  • 1:00 am - 2:00 am: Complete paperwork, such as progress notes or incident reports
  • 2:00 am - 3:00 am: Prepare for Early Morning Shift and handoff to the next shift

Early Morning Shift (3:00 am - 9:00 am)


  • 3:00 am - 4:00 am: Handoff from the previous shift and overnight report
  • 4:00 am - 6:00 am: Check on residents and assist with any needs
  • 6:00 am - 7:00 am: Assist residents with morning routines, such as hygiene, dressing, and medication management
  • 7:00 am - 8:00 am: Breakfast and medication management
  • 8:00 am - 9:00 am: Prepare for Day Shift and handoff to the next shift
